188 on commerce - Signage and collateral
The branding on 188 on Commerce is inspired by a pattern which resembles the trunk of a palm tree. I used this pattern as a cut through on the base element of the sign. I also produced a Guest Information book, detailing information on the motel and the surrounding area. The signage was submitted into the 2016 NZ Sign Awards.
188 on Commerce is a motel situated on Commerce street in Whakatane. The motel had previously hired Law Creative group to produce collateral and a LED sign for the entrance of their establishment. I was asked to design two additional signs to attract business from the other sides of the building.
